NCI Data Jamboree: Enhancing Data Sharing and Utility to Advance Cancer ResearchDate:

The National Cancer Institute invites you to participate in the NCI Data Jamboree: Enhancing Data Sharing and Utility to Advance Cancer Research, November 16–18, 2026, at the NIH Neuroscience Center in Rockville, Maryland. This collaborative event will bring together researchers, trainees, citizen scientists, patients, and advocates to work in small teams and solve scientific and technical challenges using publicly available cancer research datasets. Participants will gain hands-on experience in cohort building, data access, integration and analysis, contribute to the development and application of tools and approaches, evaluate data quality and AI-readiness, and help identify gaps in existing resources. In-person participation is preferred with virtual and hybrid options available. Please complete registration and project submission by the deadline of July 1, 2026.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) International Program is pleased to announce that registration for the 2026 International Forum is now open.
Interested in presenting your research as a poster in this year’s virtual poster hall?
The International Program invites you to submit an abstract for consideration. Please review the Forum Research Poster Guidelines. You must register for the meeting and then follow the instructions in your registration confirmation email to submit your poster abstract. The deadline to submit an abstract is March 22, 2026.
About the NIDA International Forum
The NIDA International Forum fosters global collaboration by bringing together substance use researchers to share scientific findings and exchange knowledge, highlighting the breadth and quality of research conducted worldwide. Participants have the opportunity to connect with colleagues, learn about substance use and addiction research and policy issues in different countries, and explore NIDA-supported fellowships and programs that facilitate international research collaboration.
